360 Combat Club

360cc training provides an informal yet serious opportunity for anyone interested in learning how they can stay safe in an ever threatening world. Most importantly, learn how you and your family can avoid conflict, reduce the risk of becoming a victim, and keep safe at home, school, work or when traveling.

For the beginner, simple and effective concepts are taught that can be learnt quickly and easily by everybody, repetition is then the key to developing muscle memory and your reflexive instinct. Self defense, in comparison to traditional martial arts training, focuses on simple gross motor skills that can be executed effectively to stop an attacker even under high levels of duress.

If it comes to a physical confrontation, you need to strike aggressively at vulnerable targets and make your escape to safety as quickly as possible. No ego and no macho Hollywood BS that could get you killed or worse, just the simple reality that we want to live to see another day.

For the more advanced, we offer an opportunity to take what you already know and practice and adapt it to the real world. We do not train for sport or competition, nor to satisfy our ego in a drunken brawl. Our objective is to develop the finer skills of self protection so that the threat can be avoided in the first place.

Concepts of crime prevention and personal situational awareness are regularly discussed to re-enforce our primary teaching - identify the threat early and take action to AVOID what could be a life-threatening or otherwise serious confrontation.

Our self defense training can bring your traditional martial arts and existing combat skills into real world perspective where there is no honour, no gloves, no referee's whistle and no soft mat to fall on.

360cc is about taking responsibility for our own and others safety and security and the concepts taught are not only the physical self defense techniques but also the tactical and strategic aspects of combat, personal risk management, the psychology of fear, understanding the physiological responses of our bodies in a threat situation, as well as techniques used by professional close protection teams to keep their clients safe. Home, office, travel, and other security related topics are always up for discussion too.

The 360 Combat Club is a registered BCA (British Combat Association) self protection training club.
